That's Why I Am Here

I got a wonderful SPM result. This is more than enough to apply some of scholarship for studying at any colleges or Universities at KL.

I thought many people think that I will study at KL because I got this nice result. However I wanna to study Form 6 at my local school. My English tuition teacher also expected me will study at college or University at KL. I told her my plan. She was shock. I explained to her the reason I study Form 6 is because I would like to serve God at my local church. She told me there are many churches at KL also, and I can serve at there.

Right, she was right. There are many churches at KL I can serve. The churches are also very strong in number of Christians, strong in leadership, have many talented people also. They can organize many activities to reach out.

They have many talented people. So, are they need me? The presence of me at the churches will no any difference for them. If, let say I am also a very talented people, can my talent will be used fully?

My church located at a small town, the people here are not so open but more traditional thinking. So, there are hard to reach out to the local people. So, my church is just a few people. So, my church need to grow? Or, I go to grow other strong churches but let my church struggles?

During the mission trip at Bukit Mertajam Gospel Centre, Penang, my teammate, Rachel Ho shared with us her thought. She hoped the number of kids of the Sunday School of the church would be many. If not, she would feel disappointed. But, her thought changed when someone said to her this: That's why we are here."

So, what I can say is: Because the church is small, that's why I stay. There are same what Rachel Ho shared, because the number of kids are few, that's why we are here...

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,
do it for the Glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

So, I am here to serve. At here, I want to establish the God's Kingdom, to grow my church. All that I do is not for my glory but His glory, just want to lift His name on high!

The Good For Others

I was doubt that whether study Form 6 or Foundation. Honestly, I would like to study Foundation. This is because, firstly, it is faster than studying Form 6. It is just take 1 year to complete the course. Secondly, I may study at PJ or KL area, I can meet my RBS friends very easy. Studying Form 6 is not my favorite choice but I can serve God at my local church. I can grow my church, accompany the youths at my church.

Yesterday night, I prayed this issue to God. And He spoke to me about my problem through my devotion time this morning.

"Everything is "permissible" - but not everything is beneficial.
"Everything is "permissible" - but not everything is constructive.
Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24

So whether you eat or drink or whether you do,
do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31

It is so clearly that God wants me make a decision that is good for others and it is for the glory of God.

Studying Foundation is my choice, is my freedom that pleasure me. But is it good for others. I will not able to be at Bentong. So, I will not able to help the youths and my friends when they need me. If they want my hands, I can't give them, if they my ears, i can't give them also.

Studying Form 6 is not my choice but I think is good for others. I will able to help the youths and my friends when they need me. If they want my hands, I can give them, if they my ears, i can give them also. And my church need me to grow. I think this will be an act of glorifying God.

" Should not seek his own good, but the good of others." Love is not self-seeking. And "love each others" is the command of Jesus. It is a command, and this is not easy. Max Lucado wrote in a book about:" If you love those that you love, what praise did you get?" In other words, if I do something that I like but not for the good for others, what praise that I get? Because "love" is an action word. It is independent with "like".

Form 6, is the way of mine, it is the way of Him.

Love In Action

After get well from illness, My grandfather's behavior have changed. He changed to be more childish. He must get the things what he wants. If he did't get it, he will continue to ask and ask until he got it.

2 days ago, he wanted his third son came to his house. He wanted to see him, just want to be with him. He asked me to call his son. I called but that was no one received the call. Just after 15 minutes, my grandfather asked me call him again, still not received. After a while, my grandfather wanted me called again, but still the same. The old man got angry and scold his son:" Fourth something is still like that! Rubbish!" He continue scold and scold. He went to his room and changed shirt. He asked my father to fetch him to his third son's house. At that time, my father was washing dishes. He tried to persuade my grandfather wait for a while but my grandfather was very determined. No choice, father left all and fetch him go.

This morning, my father woke up very early, I think he woke up on 4.45am. This was because my grandfather wanted to go out for breakfast. 5.00am breakfast, it was crazy but my father still accompany him.

Love is independent with "like". "Like" is emotion but "love" can without emotion but love cannot without action.

"Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy. It does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
LOVE NEVER FAILS.... 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

The Half Reunion Dinner

What is "The Half Reunion Dinner"? "Half" means not complete. And old man waited and waited but his son was not come to the reunion dinner. He waited and waited, it was 7.30pm. Finally he gave up.
2 weeks ago, he was sent to hospital, almost died. His son was just only visit him one time. And that time his son never asked him about his health but his wallet. The old man was very angry for what his son did. His son never stop asking him about wallet, he even scolded his father. After that time, his son never visit him again.
The old man is a kind man, he forgive his son and asked him come and join the reunion dinner. He never came but his children came. When my parents asked us to start our reunion dinner, but he was not willing, he asked his grandchildren went back and came again later. His purpose was very clear, waited his son and hope he would come......
Well, at the end, his son never came. My gloomy grandfather, he was disappointed.

For God so loves the world, we sin against him everyday and He hates sin, but he never forsakes us, He never leave us outside. Just like the parable of The Lost Son. The son sinned against his father. However, the father never hates him but continue to love him. He always waited his son for coming back, he was ready to forgive......
