That's Why I Am Here

I got a wonderful SPM result. This is more than enough to apply some of scholarship for studying at any colleges or Universities at KL.

I thought many people think that I will study at KL because I got this nice result. However I wanna to study Form 6 at my local school. My English tuition teacher also expected me will study at college or University at KL. I told her my plan. She was shock. I explained to her the reason I study Form 6 is because I would like to serve God at my local church. She told me there are many churches at KL also, and I can serve at there.

Right, she was right. There are many churches at KL I can serve. The churches are also very strong in number of Christians, strong in leadership, have many talented people also. They can organize many activities to reach out.

They have many talented people. So, are they need me? The presence of me at the churches will no any difference for them. If, let say I am also a very talented people, can my talent will be used fully?

My church located at a small town, the people here are not so open but more traditional thinking. So, there are hard to reach out to the local people. So, my church is just a few people. So, my church need to grow? Or, I go to grow other strong churches but let my church struggles?

During the mission trip at Bukit Mertajam Gospel Centre, Penang, my teammate, Rachel Ho shared with us her thought. She hoped the number of kids of the Sunday School of the church would be many. If not, she would feel disappointed. But, her thought changed when someone said to her this: That's why we are here."

So, what I can say is: Because the church is small, that's why I stay. There are same what Rachel Ho shared, because the number of kids are few, that's why we are here...

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do,
do it for the Glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

So, I am here to serve. At here, I want to establish the God's Kingdom, to grow my church. All that I do is not for my glory but His glory, just want to lift His name on high!
