I was doubt that whether study Form 6 or Foundation. Honestly, I would like to study Foundation. This is because, firstly, it is faster than studying Form 6. It is just take 1 year to complete the course. Secondly, I may study at PJ or KL area, I can meet my RBS friends very easy. Studying Form 6 is not my favorite choice but I can serve God at my local church. I can grow my church, accompany the youths at my church.
Yesterday night, I prayed this issue to God. And He spoke to me about my problem through my devotion time this morning.
"Everything is "permissible" - but not everything is beneficial.
"Everything is "permissible" - but not everything is constructive.
Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24
So whether you eat or drink or whether you do,
do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
It is so clearly that God wants me make a decision that is good for others and it is for the glory of God.
Studying Foundation is my choice, is my freedom that pleasure me. But is it good for others. I will not able to be at Bentong. So, I will not able to help the youths and my friends when they need me. If they want my hands, I can't give them, if they my ears, i can't give them also.
Studying Form 6 is not my choice but I think is good for others. I will able to help the youths and my friends when they need me. If they want my hands, I can give them, if they my ears, i can give them also. And my church need me to grow. I think this will be an act of glorifying God.
" Should not seek his own good, but the good of others." Love is not self-seeking. And "love each others" is the command of Jesus. It is a command, and this is not easy. Max Lucado wrote in a book about:" If you love those that you love, what praise did you get?" In other words, if I do something that I like but not for the good for others, what praise that I get? Because "love" is an action word. It is independent with "like".
Form 6, is the way of mine, it is the way of Him.
